Zenit
Zenit started his Dj journey at the age of 16. His music was primarily Techno/Minimalistic, but he also had a huge passion for the 90`s trance and Hard club scene. A couple years of local playing went by, and then he joined Oslo’s club scene for real, playing at clubs like Concrete, Cats , Q-club, Castro, Milk, Consulatet etc. Joining forces with fellow friend Dj Happynæss (Fairytales),he ran the bookings for a club by the name of Checkpoint .He was booked into concepts like Temple of Love and Contrarium (Blaa,oslo). This led to bigger venues such as Baia Beach and Goliath. In 1999 he hooked up with Dj Sven G (aka pop artist Sven Garås) and formed the concept DjDepartment. With huge success, they managed to round up some of Norway’s greatest DJ’s such as Luis Molinari, Carl E , Andy , Omar , Stigma and the list goes on. After a short period of time, Dj Zenit collaborated with Werner Hilberink and Dj Lemon. This led to successful events, allowed him to play along side names such as Tiesto, Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Sonique, Queen Maxine, Dj jean, Misja Helsloot, Eddie de Clerque, Dj Jose, Jurgen, Breeder, The Forth (Global Underground), Angie Dee.
Having had an eight-year period off from the club scene, Zenit is now back with a more Minimal/Techouse/Tribal sound! Track producing is also on the agenda, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!
